In my experience, you should get a refund through the app. You can expect an email or something letting you know it’s been refunded. your card should not actually be charged until we finalize the order, it should be staying as pending for a day or two and ultimately be refunded if the order is never finalized ...I made a mobile order, it charged my card, I was given an order number and receipt, but when I got to my local McDonald's they said the order wasn't in their system.
