I do my best to keep up with them for the first few da...I used the highway to get home very quickly, but mostly this is a country roads to the trails bike for me, cruising 40-60mph is very comfortable. DRZ400S wins no contest in the power department. DRZ has 34 whp/25.6 ft-lb vs KLX300's 23.4 whp/15.4 ft-lb. At 302 lbs, it's also only 15 lbs lighter than the DRZ.Wheelbase has been shortened (0.3 inches) on the CRF300L compared to the CRF250L while the Rally remains about the same, and there are some minor differences in the steering head angle for the Rally as well. The CRF300L Rally gets a bump in fuel capacity from 2.7 gallons to 3.4 gallons for a welcome increase in range.The 300L and KLX300 match up really well against each other and are pretty much the only 2 250 dual sports on the market right now. I think the Rally looks better but the Rally is heavier than the KLX (its all that fairing stuff). The KLX300 is 30lbs lighter but the CRF300L is 6lbs heavier..
